Like Kerri, I am a Massage Therapist with 16 years of clinical experience in treating soft tissue function and pain. I use an osteopathic approach to treat muscle tension, pain, and stress, and improve range, quality, and ease of movement. I received my Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion from Appalachian State University and received my massage therapy diploma from the Body Therapy Institute in 2008. I have been practicing massage therapy since 2009. From the onset, I have been interested in understanding the biomechanical factors that contribute to movement and optimal states of wellness. I certified in Medical Massage Therapy in 2010, Thai Yoga Massage in 2014, IASTM Basic and Advanced in 2016, Myofascial Cupping in 2020, Osteopathic Articulation Techniques in 2021, Breast Cancer Rehabilitation in 2021, Muscle Energy Techniques in 2022, and Positional Release Therapy in 2023.
Currently, I am pursuing certifications in Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization and Advanced Myofascial Techniques.

Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization
DNS is a progressive, brain-based rehabilitation program based on the developmental kinesiology research of Pavel Kolar. I offer DNS sessions to focus on building the capacity for optimal breathing and differential movement to reduce pain and tension in postural muscles.
