This therapy connects directly to your immune and lymphatic systems, correcting imbalances and enhancing functionality. LDT detects the rhythm, direction, depth, and quality of lymph flow. Manual Lymphatic Mapping (MLM) assesses circulation and identifies pathways to address tissue fluid stagnation. These techniques promote lymph circulation and stimulate the immune and parasympathetic nervous systems.

Benefits of Lymph Drainage Therapy

It is shown that when these actions are accomplished, the results can be:

  • Reduction in edemas (swelling) and lymphedemas of various origins

  • Detoxification of the body

  • Regeneration of tissue, including burns, wounds and wrinkles

  • Relief of numerous chronic and subacute inflammations, including sinusitis, bronchitis and otitis

  • Relief of chronic pain

  • Reduction in the symptoms of chronic fatigue syndrome and fibromyalgia

  • Antispastic actions to relieve conditions such as muscle hypertonus and some forms of constipation

  • Deep relaxation to aid insomnia, stress, loss of vitality and loss of memory

  • Alleviation of adiposis and cellulite tissue

  • Nerve conditions (sciatica, TOS, carpal tunnel syndrome)

What is Manual Lymphatic Mapping?

MLM is a protocol developed by Dr. Bruno Chikly that assesses the directionality and quality of the movement of lymphatic fluid. It is a novel approach that replaces many of the assumptions made about manual lymphatic massage. Namely, the protocol identifies where places of congestion occur in the body, often times areas that have been stagnant for many years, and restores the function of the lymph vessels in that area. It is a very precise and fast-acting technique that restores virtually every soft tissue in the body.

Essentially, it is a full body system approach of hands on techniques to alleviate pain, restore function, & promote health & well being.
